Headquartered in the DC Metro area, Chenega Worldwide Support (CWS), LLC is Chenega’s newest company, created specifically to provide a full continuum of life-cycle Professional and Engineering Support Services with a focus on supporting Reconstruction and Stabilization (R&S) operations in OCONUS locations. CWS is postured to continue the long history of Chenega support to the U.S. Federal Public Sector OCONUS by establishing an initial set of core competencies that correlate to three (3) lines of business: 1) Engineering; 2) Law Enforcement & Public Safety Support; and 3) Information Security and Intelligence: CWS was formed on 9 March 2016 in Alaska. CWS is going through the ANC 8 (a) certification process and is expected to receive its 8 (a) certification by 1 January 2017. CWS is a wholly owned subsidiary of Chenega Corporation and is a separate and distinct Company from all other Chenega Companies, to include Chenaga Security and Support Solutions. Chenega Corporation as the most successful Alaska Native Village Corporation, Chenega Corporation figures prominently in the diverse government services contracting marketplace, and in the forefront among other Alaska Native Corporations’ service to their Shareholders and their community. The Chenega Corporation began to participate in the government services marketplace in 1997. Today it performs on more than 250 federal contracts through a combination of negotiated best-value and full and open competition vehicles. Chenega Corporation’s diverse corporate capabilities and numerous contract vehicles, accommodate a myriad of customer requirements and partnership scenarios. CWS currently has two employees, a President, Mike Montgomery who is responsible for day-to-day management decisions and leading the development and execution of the CWS’s long-term strategy and shareholder value. Mr. Montgomery is customer focused and has more than 25 years of experience in HN building and supporting customers in more than 30 OCONUS locations. He has successfully taken one Chenega Company through the 8(a) business development lifecycle and will do the same with CWS. For additional resources and as a subsidiary of Chenega Corporation, an Alaska Native Corporation (ANC), CWS extends to our public sector customers the firm commitment of its other sister companies to leverage their “meaningful involvement in contract performance” throughout the duration of any contract. Through the meaningful involvement of its other sister company and as a complement to the firm commitments, CWS has direct reach-back into the capabilities of six additional subsidiaries assigned to the Chenega Military, Intelligence, and Operations Support (MIOS) Strategic Business Unit (SBU). This further commitment allows CWS to leverage critical expertise, past performance and resources.
