Don't you like the sound of that - ISOA Achievement Award Winner! - for your company? Of course you do. The timing now is perfect for your company to be showcased as a finalist and possibly as the ISOA Achievement Award Winner for your size of company. With the military build-up underway, the needs of our government will only increase around the world.
Think of the large IDIQ contracts that are forming up right now - Diplomatic Platform Support Services (DiPSS) from the State Department, LOGCAP V from the Army, AFRICAP re-compete that is about to be announced, and Worldwide Protective Services 2 (WPS 2) that is already underway. There are many others that you already know. The point is, you want to have your company in the spotlight as the government is deciding who to select for these multi-billion dollar contracts.
Whether you are a private security company, or you work in the fields of logistics, construction, infrastructure, transportation (air and ground), medical, financial, legal, international development, or whatever else to assist our government overseas, you want to be one of these awardees for superior achievement.
Apply now by simply submitting a 2-page nomination application and following the instructions. The deadline for award submissions is March 31.
I would like to take this opportunity to recognize GardaWorld, and the new President of GardaWorld Federal Services, Pete Dordal, who is also a long-time member of the ISOA Board of Directors, and a prior Chairman of the ISOA Board. President Dordal and GardaWorld hosted a great event last week at the University Club in Washington, DC. The evening involved an hour-long discussion between David Lough, the author of "No More Champagne," and the Right Honorable Sir Nicholas Soames, on the content of the book, which is the first biography focused on Winston Churchill's personal finances. Sir Nicholas is a GardaWorld International Advisory Board member, a member of the British Parliament, and also happens to be Winston Churchill's grandson. It was a fascinating discussion. The book discussion was preceded by a wonderful reception with senior members of the US diplomatic and business communities.
